|
|
Hi
I have Pa900 and I attached Micro SD ram into Micro SD Slot at Rear side of keyboard
My Micro SD is Class 10 ( highest Speed ) and U1 ( Ultra Hi Speed )
And KORG Says Pa900 have Two USB 2.0 Slot Speed ( 480 Mbps )
But data transfer between PC and Keyboard is only 500 Kiloo Byte per Second Only
With the Informations I said , Data transfer Spped Must be at least 10 MByte per second
My PC is Socket 1155 and Up to date and nothing problem in Read/Write Speed with other Devices and Ram Readers
anybody Idea ? |

The speed is determined by the keyboard internal processor and it is USB 2.0.
Maybe that 10 MBS was actually 10 MBits per second??

Usb 2.0 Speed is up to 480 Mbps ( ~66 M Byte per second )
If Pa900 Have usb 2.0 Slot , with the best Micro SD ram ( Class 10 U1 ) must transfer Data beetween 5~6 M Byte per Second and at Most 60 M byte Per Second
But I said, Data Transfers only 500 K byte per second |

Yeah - those bytes go by so fast I still have a hard time counting them. |

Nobody can help but with advisement.
USB-standard has a theoretical maximum but each implementation usually caps it to practical maximum.
Highest speed of a Micro SD Class 10 does not matter - cause of slower speed than theoreticale maximum is the implementation.
In case of flash drives the problem is in the NAND flash and in case of hard drives the problem is in controller logic.
Even high speed controllers barely exceed 30MB/s. _________________ kind regards
