I've been playing keyboards for about 6 months and I'm completely self-taught, so I apologize if there have been posts about this before that I don't know quite how to look for.

I've been trying to find a way to add a harmony to the notes I'm playing on the X-50. Specifically trying to find out how to make it play an octave above or below what I'm playing. For example, if I play C4 i'll hear both C4 and C3.

If someone could explain how to do that I would greatly appreciate it. And if I can set that up so when I have SW1 on it turns on that harmonizer/octaver thing.

You should be able to create a Combi with the same program in both Timbre slots 1 & 2. Then set the pitch of one of them 12 half notes higher or lower. Then when you hit one note, you will get octaves. I do it on my Kronos all the time. I recently got an X50 also and the method should work on it also
