Hey guys Smile

new here,

just fell in love with the WaveDrum, considering getting a Global Edition.

I'm a handpan player, but I've been watching awesome vids of guys using loopers for fun, and I feel this instrument could be fun forever.

I was hoping to make it as mobile as possible, at an amateur level, mind you, nothing professional, and one of my friends told me to check out his Mini...

I didn't like it much.

What do you guys suggest I need to be able to enjoy a WaveDrum on the go, in terms of powersource and amplification?

Also if anyone has any recommendation on Loop machines compatible with low IQs, please hit me.

Somebody told me it could also be connected to an ipad, but I'm clueless there too.

thanks,

and a good weekend to you all

Hi Amon
welcome to this "kinda abondoned" subforum

for battery power:
read here
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=87760&sid=dc639de9e2776db5bd13f8f95b875dca

I recently tested this one:
http://us.sanyo.com/Pedal-Juice
very happy ... ( I bought 2 of these)
the Pedal Juice is discontinued
original price about 120 stones (too expensive !! )
if you are lucky , you could still get it for ca 50 Euro
(Europe)
where you´re from ?

Looper :

so you might want a direct microfon connection as well
http://www.thomann.de/de/digitech_jamman_stereo.htm

the next one has no direct mic connector , but can also be used with a microphone ..

the integrated delay effect is synchronized to the loop length
(big fun)
both loopers are worth the extra $$ and IQ points Laughing

the 100 $ loopers are good for a start , but shure not good enough for the future

honestly , me neither , the big WD is the real thing

and amplification?

test and try , before you buy ...
evtl. use a booster or better a guitar or Arrow bass equalizer pedal between your WD and your amp
http://www.thomann.de/de/harley_benton_beq1.htm

the "Pedal Juice" can power all of this equipment and the WD at the same time (9Volts)

AMPs
I have no direct experience so Google is your friend Wink
https://www.google.de/search?client=opera&q=amp+%2B+battery&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest&gws_rd=ssl#channel=suggest&q=music+%2B+amp+%2B+battery

you will need a battery powered amp with batteries inside
or use a car battery (the "Pedal Juice" is not strong enough ...)
