I have a 64 bit computer, my Sonar X3 works with 64 bit, but my Band in a Box will only work with 32 bit. Can I load both a 64 bit copy of my M1 Legacy and a 32 bit at the same time on my computer?

Probably not both at the same time. There is an issue with the Korg USB MIDI driver. It supports both 32 bit mode and 64 bit mode but not at the same time. I had the same problem with Sonar. When I started Sonar in 64 bit mode none of the 32 bit applications that used the Korg USB driver worked.

I don't think Korg has addressed this issue and I don't expect that they ever will if they haven't done it by now. But if the 32 bit app doesn't need the USB driver it should work ok.

Thank you for your reply and input.

I have asked Korg a number of times how to download a 32 bit copy and so far I have not had any response. You would think it would easy to just give me a link to that, but I guess I will have to buy something else while I wait.

In Cubase 7, the MS-20ic doesn;t even appear as a controller even though I have it ticked to be both 32 and 64 bit.

I have the same problem. My Cubase 7.5 runs in 32 bits but the M1 Legacy was installed in 64 bits!!! Now I need re-install the M1 in 32 bits. It's possible to have both versions at the same time? If not, how can I remove the 64 bits version?
No answer from Korg, for the moment.
Thanks

You can definitely have both versions on your pc.I believe, if I recall, that you can choose whether to have both installed at the same time as a prompt from the installer itself. The 32 bit version should be Programs(86) and 64 in Programs.
