I've tried mapping the control surface in external mode of the OASYS to match the CC#s of the buttons and sliders of the Kronos but no changes occur when I move them. I was hoping to use the sliders as drawbar controls in CX3 programs and general editing. Is it even possible to match the 2 up this way?

I would think it should be possible.

Have you tried making sure the Kronos is set to respond to incoming CCs for the various sliders and buttons in the Global > MIDI > Controllers page?
