Korg Volca sync problems

Hey,

Forgive me if this has been discussed on the forums before.

I own the four Volca units. Whilst the Beats and Sample synchronise just fine, I experience problems when the Bass and Keys units are synced up. Steps are skipped, and sequences restarted. I am using the stock 1/8" TRS cables which came with the units, so I am wondering whether or not the problem lies with the cables used.

Any ideas?

I had this issue as soon as I had my Volcas, from day one. The bass would skip all over the place when the sequences in the beats got louder or more complex. I asked around about the issue at the time and got blank looks everywhere. My work round was to not use the sync cables between the beats and bass, but only to send it to the keys. Now I do sync them all up but I use a pulse coming from the electribe 2 to clock the first in the chain and they never seem to go out of time anymore.
