How do I make a split and layer combi?

I can't seem to find this in the manual or on this forum, and just trying for days didn't get me anything...

I want to make a sound that has strings on the left side of the keyboard and horns on the right side. To make things difficult, I want the horns to be layered with the same horns sound but one octave lower.

Is this at all possible?

Please read the short manual or the download the complete manual: everything is explained in details.
So, yes it is possible and much more ! (16 split/layers combine as you want on the keyboard)
