I have been using the MA for about a year and generally find it an excellent machine but some things which would seem elementary are either not covered in the 244 page manual or just cannot be achieved.
My latest attempt is to move performances into a logical order. Saving the performance to another slot is easy but there seems to be no way of deleting a performance other than overwriting it with another performance.
Does anyone know if it is possible to delete a performance to the default ( Empty) state ?

As described in manual (page4 - erase) it should be possible to erase files (like one performance). Select erase, select your device, select "All", open "performances", open performance-bank, select your performance, select "erase" + enter to confirm. Be sure not to delete one whole performance-bank - if it is possible to "open" a file you are still in a folder (bank) - if you can not open the file you are in that hierachic level to erase one performance-file.

If erasing without success rename one performance to "empty" and copy it to all performances you would erase.
