Hello all,
Need help with my unit...
Getting Fatal Error upon power up.....Only option is shut down or Initialize.
I replaced the main board and still have the same error msg....
Don't want to Initialize. as I will lose all data on the hard drive!
Any IDEAS are much appreciated.

Don't know if there's a boot track on the HD, maybe its corrupt. I had a D16xd for a while. I know its IDE, you could if you have an old enough PC install it there, see if your BIOS sees it, if yes, copy your songs to another drive, then you can initialize put the songs on a Flash drive and copy them back If no and its not making clunking noises it could be a bad controller card. You could maybe find an identical hard drive on Ebay, and swap the controller card.

Isn't it the power transformer? I had it before... several strange things happened...
When this is the case, the little "power light" blinks when you shut down the D32XD

Just guessing, never had problems with mine. that could be the problem. It's something you might have to do. Got a volt meter, check your outs.
