The Korg forum is a great place to share knowledge and solve problems anyone has with any Korg product.
The problem with the Electribe forum is that there are 13 Electribes spanning a range of 16 years which are, across generations, not all alike.
People post questions asking "How do I do X on my electribe", getting answers that are completely unsuitable - because they were asking for a how-to on f.e. a Generation 1 ES-1, and getting answers from people referring to the Electribe 2.
It would really help keeping things organized (and clear) if it could at least be split on generations..
A subforum for the EA/ES generation, a subforum for the EMX/ESX generation, and a subforum for Electribe 2 / Electribe 2 Sampler.
I don't know who has the actual power over the Korg Forum phpBB admin interface, but it really shouldn't be too hard to create those subfora - and rename the old / current "Electribe" forum to "Electribe - legacy forum" so all current threads stay archived and relevant.. |

Thanks for the feedback.
I'll certainly consider this as it makes perfect sense.
Kind regards

So uhm... seeing as nothing has changed, I can assume your considering efforts reached the conclusion of "Nuh-uh, not going to happen!" ?

Hello.
No, that's incorrect. We use phpBbv2 which doesn't even support sub forums. We have to upgrade to v3 first.
That's not so easy as we are running a lot of custom code that will be dumped in the process.
Regards
