|
|
hi
i find the ribbon controller sends out midi cc 16 and 17 as default.
is it possible to change it to send other midi cc like cc1(mod) since i would like to use it as a midi controller in my sequencer.
thanks

Hi, I don't think you can remap it via the Trinity, you'd have to do so using your sequencer instead.
Usually in a sequencer you'd use the 'learn' function - where you press Learn, then choose a virtual knob you wish to modulate, followed by using the ribbon, and it should put the two together.
I'm sure there are other ways via the sequencer's options if you want to use it as a global controller, rather than a specific parameter.
Bear in mind, though, that the Trinity's ribbon has several modulation parameters as it's sensitive to both left/right usage as well as pressure. _________________ [Free Moss Set For All Workstations With Moss Expansion]

thanks for your reply.
i really like the idea of the ribbon controller.
and the way it automatically ends up with middle 64 makes it useful as a mod controller when composing strings sessions.
it's a pity it can not be customized.
