|
|
Hi,
Does anybody know how to begin a new paragraph in the Setlist Coment Window, if possible? I want to do that from the Kronos Editor, which is far easier to enter long text description instead of writing on the LCD touchscreen.
When I press "enter" at the end of the first line, the all comment is validated and the window is closed.
Many thanks for helping. _________________ New Timelapse Kronos soundset:

With a PC it's [Strg] + [Return/Enter] _________________ Organize your sounds with the free software

I am on Mac (Yosemite), and I have tried many combinations of different keys (CTRL, ALT, Shift, CMD, Fn...) with ENTER key...With no success up to know.
But I have found a tip to reach the target in a different way: I write a first comment on the Kronos itself (with no problem to begin a new paragraph...), then I copy / Paste within the Editor. Once the structure of my comment is right, I can replace the text with what I need.
A little tricky, but it works.
Thanks to all for your answers. _________________ New Timelapse Kronos soundset:

If you use an emulator you can use PCG Tools which accept the enter key for set list description (actually, it did it already before Korg made the change for allowing the enter key on the actual synth itself). _________________

You could also use a USB keyboard directly into the Kronos. That's what I do for entering notes for songs in my set list. Of course, if you're using the Editor for other things too then it doesn't matter. |

Thank you all for answering.
The thing about the USB keyboard plugging in the Kronos is that it is only compliant with QWERTY keyboards. Here in France, we only USE AZERTY keyboards.
Otherwise, in the editor, there are many display bugs on Mac. When you cancel a line in the Mac Kronos Editor, then a line is displayed twice. This is only a display bug, because when you save the field and re-open it, informations are displayed in the right way.
Now, to begin a new paragraph, I copy/paste the space between 2 paragraph and that's it. A little weird, but it also works. _________________ New Timelapse Kronos soundset:

I'm curious: what happens when you try to use an AZERTY keyboard with the Kronos? I don't have one here to test. _________________ Dan Phillips

For my former Motif XS8, I also had to buy a USB QWERTY mini keyboard to use it in an efficient way.
It would be great if a future update of OS may offer a QWERTY/AZERTY option in the global menu. I don't think it would be very difficult to implement. _________________ New Timelapse Kronos soundset:
