I will not insert in legal details of resampling action which is complex and has been discussed many times in Kronos section of this forum.
But the DIY resampling as a work flow is so sophisticated that you can ever imagine , especially for a multi layered grand piano as this in
Pa3X or Kronos , where you can never distinguish the original sampled note orientation or velocity point nor looping point (if exist) , leading
you to create eg 4 layers of 88 resampled files = 552 samples of long duration that in best case will fill the entire 512 Mb of user Ram
memory of a Pa3X , not to mention that resultant in Sound interface will never be the same with prototype ... This is a job of very skilled
sound engineers that will be always in business and not a job of an end-user ... sorry !
On the other hand it's totally insane to resample a PaSeries piano , even Pa4X's one due to use it in a Kontakt sampler where also very
skilled sound developers only can be involved with scripts & crossfades , when superior VSTi Pianos of GB's are existing out there ,
even freeware !
