Ay microarranger users here? I just bought one on eBay. It powers on and will play drum beats, but no sounds from the keyboard. I MIDI'd it to a controller, and it will play the onboard grand piano sound only, but will not change sounds, or play any of the accompaniment patterns. Has anyone seen this before? Is it a quick/easy fix like reinstalling something, or do I need to return this unit? Thanks! |

I don't know too much about this keyboard, but I'm considering buying one. Have you tried to see if it will play the demo tunes: hold down the Style Play and Song Play buttons together?
This keyboard has a SSD which holds the operating system, maybe it's been corrupted in some way and requires it to be reinstalled.
OS is available from the support page:
http://i.korg.com/SupportPage.aspx?productid=608
Instructions for how to do the reinstall should be in the microARRANGER Owner's Manual found on the CD ROM or from the support page above.
It maybe that the SSD has become corrupt due to a sudden removal of power while it was writing data.
It maybe that it requires a reinstall of the patch data, which is available from the support page above.
Hope this helps a bit and let us know how you get on. |
