It really bugs me off that the manuals no longer have an index and its a real pain trying to find anything anybody else have this problem?

I just view the manual on my computer or tablet and do a "Find" through the PDF and get the answer quicker than any index. Usually it's more thorough too because a lot of times an Index is not very comprehensive and sometimes very important subjects (or at least the one item that you're looking for) may not be listed.

Thank you but sometimes say for instance in an index look for midi and you see all the options for the item midi

Yes, it definitely helps to narrow down the search by being more specific. I.e. I entered "convert midi to style" in the PDF Find window and immediately, it took me to the style conversion discussion I was interested in as a first answer to the search, even though the Manual heading for the topic was worded a little differently.

Does it say anything there about saving the converted midi to style to USB drive

open and go to View --> Show/Hide --> Navigation Panes --> Bookmarks Wink

Thank you but that is not an index its more like the contents page and in acrobat just click on the ribbon on the left all is revealed click on the page above and all the page thumbnails are on view. What I am talking about is an alphabetical index as in all the previous manuals
