Hi guys, not sure if the question has been asked but... is it possible to save transpose settings on styles?

I have quite a few non factory styles which I use and I want to save them transposed so everytime I call up whatever style, its set at the transpose position I need it at?

Also... how can I save the styles so when I call one up, it starts from INTRO 1 or INTRO 2? I tried saving the style while its on INTRO 1 but it always converts back to VAR 1

Thanks in advance.

Hi, not sure about saving the transpose with the styles (I don't have the 4x yet).

But for the styles to start from intro, check if "Style Element" in Global > General Controls > Lock > Style is locked, and unlock it.

Hope this helps.

not sure in Pa4x, but in Pa600 you can save transpose to style setting.
Just set transpose, then save "Write Current Style Setting " then change style and reload again, then you see if works. Wink
here is styles structure:

Locking Style Elements give lock preventing (overwrite Style Setting) changing Element when you changing style.
Is very useful when you play song based on more that one styles, to start new called from intro you need set var which you going to play after intro then which intro on STOP mode, then Write Current style Setting.
If is in Factory Banks, you must Unlock Protection.

At least this is how to do in PA600. Wink
who knows how is in PA4x.

Hey guys, many thanks!
I have managed to set the styles to start from INTRO 1 (or where ever I want now) Thanks heaps for your help!!

Now the problem of setting the transpose on styles and saving it transposed... I tried setting the transpose on a style of -3 but it just will not save, when I go back to that style, it just plays at original 0 setting.

PLEASE HELP! Sad

can be a bug, you need to wait on someone with Pa4x to confirm.
check this topic if they maybe report:
