|
|
Here is the scenario;
I created a Songlist of MP3 Karaoke songs of let's say 30-40 songs.
I want to Load a song into player 1 from the setlist
While it is playing, I want to load the next song into Player 2
I would expect you can press Setlist, select the song, and then select the player. But this is not how it works. You have to press the Player 2 Song Select button, then navigate to the file you want to load. This sort of defeats the purpose of having a setlist?
What am I doing wrong? Or is the Pa4x at fault?

Hi Al
Don't think you are doing anything wrong.
I don't ever remember being able to do this on any of the PA series.
It's a good question

Works for me OK.
Once a song (Midi or MP3) is loaded from the setlist into player one, press play and then whilst that is playing I select a song from the setlist again and it automatically puts it into player two, once player two is playing if I select another song, it loads that into player one automatically. I don't touch the select button at all, I only use that if I want to load a file from the hard drive.
I can even load songs (Midi or MP3's) from different setlists if I want to.
Hope it helps. _________________ Dave |

Look in the manual for Jukebox. I haven't look at that feature yet (haven't had mine very long) but I saw it in the manual. |

Jukebox is different to setlist in that songs assigned to a Jukebox list can only be played on player 1. Sure, you can re-arrange the songs into any order but only one can be played at a time in the list. If you select another song in the Jukebox list while a song is playing it will stop the current song and start the selected song. If you leave the songs running then it will continuously play the songs in the list one after the other.
However, whilst on the Song Play screen, you can still select a song from the hard/usb drive to be played in player 2 if you wish.
I think the idea behind Jukebox is that you can leave it running while you go and have a break.
Hope it helps _________________ Dave |
