Hi,

Bit of a newbie here who has just bought a PA900. My question covers all the PA arrangers, so perhaps somebody could give me an answer on this Forum.

I loaded a set of sounds from a guy called Dopamine, which loaded okay. Unfortunately they deleted the whole user 1 sound section. My question is, can you load sounds and dictate where they go in the users section ? There were spare empty spaces in user sections 3 and 4. I have had a series of Tyros arrangers and don't think I have had anything automatically deleted when loading sounds into the keyboard. It always asks where I want to place sounds.

I am assuming that I can do this if I purchase the Korg PA Manager software for £69. Are there any alternative methods ?

Chris

Please forgive me if I'm missing something painfully obvious here. I'm struggling to get to grips with the PA900 at the moment.

Hi chelsea4023

You can load individual banks or sounds by selecting "open" when in media mode.
This means YOU can choose which sounds/banks you want and where they are to be loaded (bank/location etc...)

Let me know if you need further help...

Cheers

Pete Very Happy

Hi Pete,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I will have a go this evening and hopefully get some positive results.
Would you or any other Forum members endorse the PA Manager software. It's not cheap at £69 U.K. but it might make things a lot easier. I'm surprised that Korg don't have a free app that does the job.

Chris
