This question is related to the post shown below.

http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=103894

I have a Big Band Showcase set that consists of
Global
Keyboardset
Songbook
Sound

How can I load this set without over-writing my own Global, Keyboardset Sonbook and sound. Seems as though when I load the entire set it overwrites all of my .Set. Even loading as a direct set I don't get the desired result, is there a way to combine My.Set and BigBandShowcase.Set?

Hello!
As there are no styles in there ( it would be difficult if they exist) you can open and load the sounds one by one in empty locations.
Then do the same for keyboard sets!
Then you will need to fix the keyboard sets to choose the correct sound (in the new position) and resave...
Its not easy but doable..!
best wishes,
Theo

Great info thank you. I thought I was missing something in how I was trying to load, but based on your response I wasn't missing anything. Cool Cool

You are not missing something at least not with normal loading!
When you load a full set with MEDIA-> LOAD->ALL then it overwrites everything. You must open and load one by one all the sounds to not loose anything.
Now there is direct set too.
If the new set ISN'T using pcm's in the sounds it will work there by just loading it!

To be safe, make a copy of the SET first so you can always go back... then...
...you can delete those items that you don't want to "load" (e.g. GLOBAL, SOUNDS etc..) from inside the .SET folder, then nothing will load except STYLES etc... (i.e. whatever is left in the .SET folder)

Cheers
