|
|
Hey Guys,
Im a bit of a noob and prob missing something here but when i connect the SQ 1 to my MS20m i have the follwing problem
CV out to VCO 1 + 2 CV in
Gate Out to Trig in.
I can't seem to get it to not send gate! I.E when i turn a steps gate 'off' it still seems to send gate to the ms20, with the same CV vaue as the last note it played. I.E if i turn all the steps off on gate on/off but the first one it will just repeat the same note value at the first over all the steps.....
Any ideas?
Cheers! |

Hi,
This sounds to me like the gate is open during inactive steps...
The MS20 expects a negative edge for the gate. By default the SQ-1 has a a rising edge (as far as I remember).
You might try to reconfigure the SQ-1. In the global settings you can choose for a negative polarity for the gate signal.
Good luck. _________________ microKORGXL, Kaossilator Pro, monotribe, SQ-1, volca fm, Kross 88 BK
