Yesterday I tried to use my iPhone headphones and connected them to the back of keyboard at the place where there is a headphone sign, using a quarter inch adapter. The music quality and sounds were horrible, even the styles beats did not sound right. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to use special headphones for keyboards? I need to do this since I want to be able to hear myself playing during live performance. I appreciate any help and answers from more experienced members. |

If you have pa300, you need to switch line out to headphones from Global. There is an option there. _________________ Korg pa1000 |

The iphone headset is NOT headphone socket friendly..While in some devices it may work ok ,on most you will have a center cancellation effect due the built in mic (third ring on the JACK) and the button it has..
To check that , try to keep the button pressed and i am almost sure that it will play ok!The same will happen with every headset with button/mic (handsfree).. |

Thank you angelitto and musiciankill for your quick responses. I have PA600 keyboard. I tried headphone without built it mic (only 2 rings on jack) and it worked perfect. Thank you again for the helpful hint. |
