I have just bought a used Korg MP10 PRO. Is there any body out there who can help me get started on this? I live in Brisbane and am happy to pay for tuition. Cheers

On my mind a first factory.bkp never exists.
Maybe i am wrong, but i think to copy last downloadable “mp_os.pkg” operating system file into the root of an USB storage device and install it like described (PAD A pressed and turn on MP-10) you get all your lost data.

Find zipped operating-systems under software/support of Korgs homepage
(i.korg.com/mp10pro or www.korgpa.com/support/products/modules/mp10-pro/mp10-pro-software.html).
This "zipped" download contains the most current version of the Operating System for the MP10 Pro. A full description of the update is included in this downloads (MP10 Pro-os-v103.zip MP10ReleaseNotes_v103.pdf).

A look inside the file mp_os.pkg with hex-viewer indicates that this file initiate also resources of the mp10, as you can find ascii-strings like
"C:/Startup/All/Sound/ROM.PCG .. /Perform/PRFS.xml .. Multismp/ROM.KMP.

On my mind successfully installing a recent OS (mp_os.pkg) means to get also musical-resources like programs, performances and multisamples (filetype .pcg, .prf, .kmp).
