Despite following instructions to save sounds in Performance I only seem to save ONE sound the current one.

I set say Piano/Elec Piano on User1 and seems OK

if I then go to Organ and save a sound to suit, my first setting is not there and all I get is the current saved setting.

I had a Roland which allowed change settings within a user1+ and save, so all banks were as I wanted them.

what am I missing?
