| i have pa3xpro i think 125mb. i tryed to load sets of 370mb and set of 260mb and its not working. what can i do if i want to load the 370mb set? if ill install the 256mb expansion card it will work, and ill can load the 370mb set? thanks! |

128MB is the default - you can expand this by removing the 128MB chip and replacing it with the Korg 256MB chip (EXB-M256)

- With factory shipped 128 Mb Ram you can load up 256 Mb PCM if compressed.
- With 256 Mb Ram expansion you can load up to 512 Mb PCM if also compressed.
- But how do you know the actual size of PCM ? ... use PC explorer's size estimation to find out actual size of PCM folder
that is equal or smaller to 256Mb !
- The logical equation shows that a Set of 370mb PCM is by definition a compressed Set of Pa3X ( or both cases for Pa4X ) ,
this Set's actual size compressed is 185 Mb and can fit in an expanded Pa3X 256 Mb Ram.

Pa3X & Pa4X use a compression algorithm that halves PCM size , read manual for details !

I already wrote you , this Set is 185 Mb and compressed , you will just load it when your ram expansion will be added !
