|
|
Hi,
I want to assign the Quarter Tone to one of the Pad for using on live performance.
This is for real time performance, it is not for any particular scale. that way I am free to assign it to any note.
I would appreciate it if somebody can guide me through the steps.
I tried on my side but every time I reboot the keyboard, the assigned 1/4 tone to a Pad is gone.
Thanks in advance. |

You have to write it to disk before it will stick.
Press the *Write/Card in use* button after you have set up pads.

HTH, Phil. | Thanks phatt for your reply.
I did Write and confirmed Yes after assigning the QT to Pad 1 (in Menu).
But after rebooting the keyboard, the assigned QT on the Pad is gone, not working.
Is there any difference between Write and Write/Card?
I thought this setup is in Global setting.
Is there anything to set or change in Global?
Could you please explain step by step this process? I just want to make sure I did everything correctly.
Actually I am helping a friend.
Thanks |

Oh sorry yes after setting pads on page 22 scroll to next page *Preferences lock Global* and turn pad lock to on Then write to disk. See page 49 in the manual for more details.
I'm not sure if this will stick with all performance settings but try it and see if holds.
