Some people were asking, and I promise this will be my second-last post about the subject (last one being when it launches)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_YYjqhK6NE

I wanted to give some more substantial teasers about what else will be included in the sound pack, and wanted to make sure you got to hear them as well.

It's not done yet, but getting close, and figured I'd let everyone know!

Maybe someday, but I wanted to focus on hard-to-replicate sounds, and while every piano sounds different, ultimately to a degree... A piano is a piano.

The subtle differences between them will often get lost live, and that's what my focus for this sound pack was - I wanted to make something for live musicians to use to cover songs.

That said, I can definitely appreciate a nice sounding piano and EP when it sounds just like a song, so I might approach that sometime in the near future Smile

I correctly guessed about 60% of the songs too. There were a couple I was surprised to find there, since I didn't think they would make the popularity list, but I'm glad they're there.

I noticed some of them had accompanying drums. I take it these were just single beats rather than whole songs. Still, that's enough of a start getting the right kit together to flesh out the whole song. Thanks again, David, looking forward to getting this.

Thanks!

Yes - that's exactly the plan anyway - I only wanted to include drums where it's relevant to playing the song with a band. For example, the intro to Toto's Africa - it plays through the entire song as a loop (The first 8 bar loop is different than the second) but I also don't want to run into copyright issues when selling this so I've been working up a workaround so the sound samples can still be used.

I knew each song Smile

While I am not a keyboardist in a cover band (I was a guitarist), I will probably purchase this for a few reasons:

1) I record covers for fun

2) I can always have my keyboardists use them

3) Enigma is THE FRICKIN MAN!

Some mighty 'sound' reasoning there. It is so kind to think of others in your band. Smile Smile Smile

Enigmahack, thank you for your work! Can I get a list of presets for your release? Is there "Here I Go Again"? The most popular sounds: from 0:05 and from 03:03. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yas5rauBQ5I

The second sound seems simple and similar to the many available in KRONOS. However, upon closer examination - very powerful and beautiful. The KRONOS I did not find the sound.

Sure - The setlist I've got, I wanted to include more but time pressure and other factors including legal concerns means I needed to cut certain songs out and substitute others.

The song pack includes every sound for each song only from a keyboard perspective. Extra sounds and samples and such that you want to use you can customize on your own (For example, Bon Jovi's Living On a Prayer, you could include the guitar wah samples but for legal reasons I couldn't include them myself otherwise I would have)

Anyway, here's the list.

Money for Nothing (Dire Straits)
Don't you forget about me (Simple Minds)
Take on Me (a-ha)
Rebel Yell (Billy Idol)
It's my Life (Bon Jovi)
Hungry like the Wolf (Duran Duran)
Working for the Weekend (Loverboy)
Just Died in Your Arms (Cutting Crew)
Jump (Van Halen)
Mony Mony (Billy Idol)
The Power Of Love (Huey Lewis & The News)
Tom Sawyer (Rush)
Separate Ways (Journey)
Don't Stop Believing (Journey)
Any Way You Want It (Journey)
Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd)
Dirty Laundry (Don Henley)
In the Air Tonight (Phil Collins)
Dream On (Aerosmith)
Cars (Gary Numan)
Blinded by the Light (Manfred Mann)
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Cyndi Lauper)
Summer of 69 (Bryan Adams)
Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go (Wham!)
Every Rose has its Thorn (Poison)
Footloose (Kenny Loggins)
Broken Wings (Mr. Mister)
Easy Lover (Philip Bailey and Phil Collins)
When Doves Cry (Prince)
1999 (Prince)
Africa (Toto)
Let's Go! (Cars)
Boys of Summer (Don Henley)
Carry on my Wayward Son (Kansas)
Foreplay/Longtime (Boston)
Living on a Prayer (Bon Jovi)
You Give Love a Bad Name (Bon Jovi)
Tainted Love (Soft Cell)
I Think We're Alone Now (Tiffany)
Another Brick in The Wall (Pink Floyd)
