I remember I have heard/seen/tried a guitar program or combi that uses strumming by moving fingers along the ribbon control.

I thought it was somewhere in the preload PCG but I cannot find it ... do you know the program or combi number?

Isn't that a KARMA thing?

Thx Ron, but I think Michiel (and me too) are looking for a program or combi that has this set up out of the box.

Since many Programs have KARMA assigned to produce specific effects you could consider that "out of the box", no?

Indeed. So do you know a program that has the ribbon strumming set up out of the box?

I have never researched that. I would suggest that you go through the guitar patches, turn on Karma and see what happens.

Try I-F003: Lo/Hi Velocity Acoustic. Be sure to set the KARMA scene to number 8, otherwise it will trigger an arpeggio (strum) every time you change to a new chord. You can do the strumming with the ribbon or with the upper section of the keyboard much like Steven Kay's video that I referenced earlier.
That took me less than 10 minutes to find. So maybe if you do a little hunting of your own you might find something that works better for you. So there it is, out of the box.

Thx! I've been thru the guitar programs several times looking for something like this - can't believe I missed this one!

Thank you very much for all answers (and the name, it was on my setup on a different location, but I found it, thanks!)
