Karma is often overlooked for the midi powerhouse it is.
I cannot recall what all can be changed by black&white key input, but Karma has an area that lets key input control things other than note sound.
I am away from Kronos and cannot check but i remember assigning key to do some actions.
It may be as simple as start and stop functions or as complex as using karma scenes and switches to change program groups with key option inserted somewhere inplace of Karma switch.

The key assign i did through Karma was on the bottom of the low end of the keys, just like was done in the J.D video demo.

Like i said, i am not sure which functions but Karma lets you use keys to control some functions.

Great info naia. If there is something I barely know in Kronos, that thing is Karma. But I really believe it's powerful.

I'll dig into Karma and the ideas posted here and see what I can accomplish.

Thank you naia.

Watching it, i saw things change as he pressed keys and what looked like SW1 & 2. But then i noticed a brief moment where his hands seemed to not correspond to a change and his body moved in a way as if he changed leg positions. Maybe pedal input.

Karma may have + and - settings along with assignments such that two sounds may be assigned to the same switch or key or whatever, such that when pressed the key can send two different action for opossite results.
One goes up and the other goes down. Karma works per module and maybe one control could actually go 4 different ways of assignments across 4 tracks or timbres, instead of just two.

It looks like his control scene was changeing also. The keys seemed to input sound changes in one scene and then next thing you know is a bass line going on down there and he plays those keys for bass notes with no program changes happening. Control scene changes. Like in Global you can change the midi controller assignment configuration by calling up any of the 128 stored scenes and then what a control did in one scene is no longer doing what it did in the previous scene.

Like walking through the same door and it being a different room every time you go through Shocked
