Thank you guys for your assistance. When I use the windows explorer it says the file is invalid and express zip which I used for most korg zip files says its corrupt.I am re downloading the file.I am new to Korg PA600 or korg at all. Can anyone who has done a good mix of sounds for a piano tone to come up with something nice help me on how to do it.I can pay for that one if money is required.I like my PA600 but the pianos are not sounding nice. They lack something I cannot explain.I ask for help for a good mix because I suspect even after I finally get the Steinway set I will lack the skills of mixing for a good piano tone.

My apologies - I should have uploaded a zipped file. Here is a new and easier to use link:

Yes if you have a smart phone or iPad go to my site, download a soundfont, get bs-16i app and connect to your keyboard with Apple camera connection kit (the one that allows charging at the same time). Three different piano types to choose from. I recommend the Sal-Stein-Uprights UltraCompact soundfont.

The piano sound on Pa900 and Pa3XLe is not awful, maybe is the way a mechanical piano sounds. A piano has a natural reverberation plus the room sound reflections. The secret of a good piano sound and any sampled instrument is to avoid on the master recording all types of reverberations that can mute / mud the sound taking care on not to lost the high freq content. In other words to have the most pure sound is important to record the instrument in a studio room with acoustic treatment in the same way as vocal recordings. In this way you have the best accurate sound on the sampling process. After that using the on board DSP processor effects like delay, EQ and reverberation can be added to recreate different types of pianos.

Thanks much!

Here is a new link to various new pianos based on two sets of samples.
1) The free Steinways from Antony Sharmann and
2) The Korg Grand Touch pianos.
All up you will need about 28mb of free Ram.
Unzip the file and load the .set folder.

Hope you enjoy.
As mentioned in an ealier post, if you have a modern iPad or iPhone the pianos available on my site below are even better.
Best,
John

I just brought a PA900. I was most disappointed with the piano(s).

Had a chance to buy a used PA PA900 and thought 'why not'...
Much improved rhythms and styles over the Tyros but again the piano(s) sound Any ideas as to how to improve ?
