Hi. I have a new Volca Beats I've used for about 7 performances, including one recently, which the sound worked for. I use my guitar cable with an adaptor to plug into the earphone jack to plug into a PA. Now, suddenly, there's no natural sound from the machine. I turn the volume all the way up and still no sound. It's on and the lights are on. All the lights below the step mode buttons light up when I turn it on, so the batteries seem to be fine. Any ideas?

Does your internal speaker work when you disconnect the headphone jack?

If yes, try another cable, another mixer input, etc...

If no, i guess you have to claim your warranty. You could try to remove the batteries once and put them back in. My volcas tend to freeze sometimes.

No, it doesn't. I tried taking the batteries out and put a new set in, but that didn't work either. Might have to claim the warranty. Thanks for responding.

Hi @electrosongstress, have you find any solution? I'm in the same situation. Many tanks for reply, and I say Hello to all the forum, I'm a new one.

Anyone got anything on this? I've been struck by the no audio bug on my volca beats now too. I've had it over a year so I'm sure it's too late for a return. About to start taking it apart but wanted to check with y'allz first.

this happened to me, the only difference that i see in my situation is the sync signal was also not sending. i did a "factory reset" and the audio and sync worked again.

I would go with a factory reset and check the firmware on Korg support.
Here is a link to their support page where you can find a firmware update if you haven't already done so. http://www.korg.com/us/support/download/product/0/141/

Thanks for the firmware update idea. Unfortunately it didn't help me. Mine already has the current 1.02 version. Was gonna try to re-upload it but that's not an option. It won't let you upload the same version.

Damn, I guess it's just a paperweight now.

Anyone else have any luck yet?
