Hi Will someone kindly play ending 1 to factory style "Prison Rock" It sounds to me like it hasn't been finished. I've come across a few styles with the same "unfinished" ending and wonder if it's me or not. Thanks

Ending 1 is 13 bars of what seems to be an ok ending. Nothing sounds too unfinished as far as I can tell.

Hope it helps!

Simon.

Thanks Simon, its just the very last bar of the ending that stops dead and a few beats of drums play on their own. Could it be I need to re-install factory styles.

Hi Rob,

I do not think you need to reinstall, it does sound like you describe for me too.

I would say it is an artistic choice, arguably not the most inspired!

Simon.

Hi Rob, I've just looked at the style that you mentioned and agree that the end notes in ending 1 are messy and unnecessary. If you go into the style edit window for the drum part of ending 1, all you need to do is delete the last three notes and then re-save the style.

It took me about 1 minute to do and it sounds much better now and is now a much cleaner ending.

Best wishes,
Jon

I have griped about the "cut-off" endings for several years, and it doesn't seem to bother most people. It's like they just unplug the music and everything stops dead. Terrible.
Yes the endings can be edited but we shouldn't have to do this. There are numerous styles that do this, normally on the short ending, but sometimes on others.
