I must be missing something I think, BUT is it possible to "re-order" the Song Number column?
For example, I assign numbers to the first three hundred entries, but then add a further hundred songs and these then slot in among existing entries according to alphabetical order. So what I'd like to do is to re-order the numbers so they match the alphabetical order.
Seems all I can do is simply change the order from bottom to top and vice versa.

Nope, sorry you misunderstand. I know I can "move" songs, I am talking about the editor actually re-numbering according to alpha order after the addition of new songs. _________________ Just because it happened to you, does not make it interesting. |

Frist backup your songbook
then in a coumputer KORG SongBook Editor.
load you songbook , then open one more songbook editor , now you have two songbook editor open , now you can copy from book to the other... if you copy a songlist to the new blank songbook , all song go in alphabetical order ,then you can copy them back ..
you might want to try it out first to see how this work. but for me it work right , i use a song list for each singer and i want the song to be in alphabetical order not is a set order ,,
again backup.. |

Thanks Duby but again I dont' think this actually +re-numbers them. I can order them alphabetically by simply clicking on the "name" field at the top. I need the numbers to actually get re-sorted after inserting new entries. _________________ Just because it happened to you, does not make it interesting. |
