Some of us have been around long enough to remember the Grand Touch piano Korg released for the Pa1xPro (not the inbuilt factory piano but a later download). It was a pretty good piano but seemed to lack expression and it had a few other problems like key release noises being connected to key on velocity rather than key off.
I've reinvented this piano and given it much more expression (possible on the Pa3x with oscillator EQ and other advanced filtering options). I've also used all the existing resonance, key on/off and pedal effects built into the Pa3x. Anyhow you might like to have a listen and compare to the factory pianos as well as Antony Sharmann's Steinway and see what you think.
To allow a fair comparison all pianos are playing an old Digital Piano Shootout midi file.
If you like the Grand Touch I'll post a download link soon.

Edit: Link added
Full Set containing Steinways and Grand Touch. If you already have the SteinwaysPlusMarch2015 set then all you need to do is load the last 4 pianos "GrandTouchPiano", "DarkGrandTouch", "BrightGrandTouch" and "GrandTchBody".
Here is the download link. This full set is about 27mb in size.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/uuow78c0kelu1so/SteinwayGrandTchJuly2015.SET.zip?dl=0
Unzip the file (in Windows right-click and choose Open with...Windows Explorer) and copy the .Set folder to a USB stick.
If you load the set it will put 20 pianos into the first 20 slots of User 1 Sounds. Alternatively you can drill down to the individual sounds and load them to a location of your choice (by selecting Open, Open...User 1, Open... and Load when you see the sound name).
As always you should perform a Save All or Full Backup before loading.

Cool!
I'm always looking for good piano sounds, especially some that are cutting through the band-context when I play without styles.
Can you provide a download link?

Thanks!
Joe

Piano sounds are so much personal taste; one can't have enough piano's to choose from.
Yes please John, share your efforts with us. All your previous contributions are very valuable and well appreciated.

Kind regards,
admar.

Joe - You should try some of the bright pianos from the Steinway series if you haven't tried these already. They are good for cutting through a busy mix. The Grand Touch series are probably better suited to solo or more sparse mixes but to my ears sound very real and close to the real thing.
Admar - thanks for the vote of confidence. Hope you like the Grand Touch.
The link to the full set has been added in the first post.
Cheers,
John

Thanks a million John. I'm on holiday right now, but when I'm back home again, I will let you know what I think of these pianos.

Regards,
admar
