Cool! You shoulda posted it in the Krome forum - I'm surprised he uses Kromes. But if he has 50+ of these at hand maybe Kronos is too expensive? (I used to have a Krome - great board for the price BTW).

I didn’t hear him saying much about synthesis, other than he layers multiple synths for a big sound. I’m curious about what he uses to switch patches across his whole rig. What is that little box he is touching down on his left?

I rather doubt that he has to pay for his keyboards. I would think he has endorsement deals with manufacturers happy to have their logos all over the stage.

I always assumed his massive array of keyboards was mostly for show. With today’s technology you really don’t need more than two, or three at the most.
He’s way too pompous and extravagant for my taste... but I’d take a gig as his 2nd keyboardist in a heartbeat.

I looked at a couple other of his videos. It appears that he has the same box in older videos with different keyboards. My guess would be that it's some type of switch box that triggers presets on a laptop that sends program changes to every instrument.

I doubt that he gets keyboards for free. The way his rack is set up, logos aren't visible. In older videos, the logos are painted over. I assume he makes enough money in concerts and recordings that paying for keyboards is not a burden for him. His shows are about marketing himself, which he does extremely well. To promote the keyboard brand diminishes the impression that he is the music wizard.

I'm surprised that he chose Krome over Kronos. The Kronos keybed is far superior in my not so humble opinion.

His concerts are all about the show - so of course he needs a massive keyboard array. It wouldn't be much a presence to walk out with one or two boards. Like it or not, the show is impressive. He certainly draws the crowds.
