Dear all
Every time i raise the "balance" slide to maximum the sound completely disappeares as if muted , no mater where the master volume is placed.
Please any info is much appreciated.

If all (Styles\STS) are muted then probably balance slider potentiometer carbon strips are
loosing contact at the upper edge and audio signal is discontinued !
Try first any contact cleaner spray for this purpose and draw slider many times in order
contact residues & dust to free the rails of slider , else you have to replace component.

In style mode with the balance slider at the point where no sound comes out, have you tried playing a style and /or solo instrument to see if any of the 2 produce sound?
In upper position it should produce only one of the two components..
This slider actually is the mix of style and solo parts...
I don't have a pa3x near me but if i remember correctly , there is a setting in global menu (general settings i think) that you could select what this slider is about..If somehow it got changed (eg loaded a new set) it could solve your problem. |
