|

Anyone know what the maximum number of simultaneous transmitted midi channels is for PA4X ? Or is it dependent on the computer and DAW ?
Or all of the above ?
I am trying to record all the data coming out of a style (on seaparte midi tracks) while playing live in my DAW (Studio one 3 Pro). Just playing Upper 1 and Lower with about 4 tracks of style stuff. Many strange things happen, like the keyboard hanging up, track one playing track 9.
I am using an IMAC 2017, MACOS sierra, 40 gb ram I5 processor.

I have set up a template for 16 separate midi channels corresponding to the default midi outputs of the PA4x. (UUP1, UPP2 ..LOWER....DRUMS...ETC.
So I want to record each midi channel separately. _________________ PA4X V1.2, KROME, JUNO GI

The Pa4x is a one port midi device, so it can only transmit up to 16 midi channels which is the maximum number per midi specifications. _________________ Sam
