|
|
Question, there is a step during the touch panel replacement procedure where you have to mark the location of the old touch panel so you can place the new one in the same place.
Well I had to replace an entire screen (LCD) in the m3 and there was no way to mark or see the exact place that the touch panel should sit on screen... this has caused some problems with touch accuracy on the unit.
Can someone help with this? or provide some suggestions.
thanks. _________________ Please subscribe and follow me on Youtube and Facebook for information related audio technology.

m3m touch screen centering
well you can mark with ultra fine point sharpie an x y grid out on the top or outside of the screen. mark the lines x abc and y 123 about 1/16 to 1/8 inch apart.
this is on top of the removable plastic screen protector film.
or add cling film to write on...
that will aid in the alignment to keep the x y grids strait and centered as best as you can.
what issues are you experiencing?
have you done the screen calibration?
and are you on the latest os update for the m3m?
on my 3 units I have here I did not have any issues...
the x y is perfect... but then again over 40 years of repair experience on this gear.
it also can be a bad new screen..
rare but it happens! _________________ my site klimaco.net
