Last night while in sound mode I was browsing through some synth sounds, after playing one of the sounds it got stuck and just continued playing.

I tried changing modes, select different styles and keyboard sets and it just kept on going, eventually it slowly faded out probably cus I kept playing loads of notes which probably just caused it to run out of polyphony.

Is there a midi panic feature on the 4x, it's not happened before and my 4x is only a couple of weeks old.

It doesn't worry me too much but would be nice to know if there is a quick way to kill all sounds.

Panic feature = Shift + Start/stop button.

it has happen to me also .. all I could do is ,turn it off and back on ... and it happen when I was working , Sad

Also happened to me.... In style play mode. Finally I concluded that one particular sound that I used had some parameters that was responsible.

I use only factory styles and sounds .. and styles from old pa keyboard and i load them in the pa4x and resave them hope that will keep them from lock up the keyboard ...

That works great, haven't had the problem again but tested on a sustained note and it stops it instantly, should have probably just read the manual. Very Happy
