When I had my Pa3x I had some very nice (to my ear) Hammond sounds that were created by, I think, Chris Powell and I used these for Whiter shade.
I have had my 4x for a few months now but my 4 Hammond keyboard sets do not seem to have made the transition very well.
I Have tried to create various drawbar sounds but not too successful !
Can anyone help please? Quite happy to purchase if pointed in right direction...
Thanks

Hi Bob
I play this number and just re-created the DRAWBARS sound on my PA4X as follows:-
688600000
2nd harmonic percussion (4') at 43 vol and 86 length (1st-note mode)
All key noise OFF
"Mellow" organ tone
In STYLE mode make sure you change the FX as it defaults with slight distortion
I changed (FXB) to Reverb Hall with wet/dry setting to 55:45.
Then wrote this as a new Keyboard-Set
(The style I use is organ ballad with the bass inversion ON to get the bass run down)
Hope this helps and works for you
Cheers

Pete,
Why do write that as a new Keyboard Set if the Korg Songbook remembers the settings when saved as a Song?
I am sure you have a reason, am always looking to learn more. _________________ Korg Pa4X (OS NEXT 3.1.0)

You can write it as a keyboard set when you expect to use it with different songs. _________________ Musical grtz, Frans
