|
|
I have an extensive library of sound effects which are in .wav file format (or easily converted to MP3). They are ‘Hit’ style (ie just play it once, such as a thunderclap, not loops).
I would really like to convert these to Pad Hits, but reading the Pa4X User Manual, the process to create pads is just too complex for me.
I would have thought there would be a PC program which could simply convert these, and have googled , but have not found anything.
Is anyone aware of a program that would do the job for me?
Thanks

No program can do that. You need to do it yourself.
Its not that hard. You can do it in 2 ways. Make a KMP with Awave Studio, with all your wavs. Import the kmp in pa4, asign it to a sound, then open an existing pad, like claps (record/edit pad)and put the sound you created. Then press the menu/event edit, and select the note you like. Save the pad. Then do again with all the notes (waves) you have created in that KMP and make as many pads as you like.
2th way. Import the waves in pa4(as many as you like), chosing SFX grup, then asign them to a Drum Kit, one by one. When its done, save the drum kit, open an existing pad (record/edit pad), select the drum Kit with your wavs, and do the steps above.
Its a bit of work but its worth it. _________________ Korg pa1000 |
