|
|
I bought a used Sample OK Go, to complement my Volca Bass. Besides some hiss (which is fine by me), there is a very noticeable background hum all the time. It even records the hum, so it's not a headphone thing. I hear hummmmmmm... I twisted all knobs to see if it would make any effect. The hum response a little in volume when I twist the sample selection knob, but it never goes away. I read some older posts about hiss and hum. I wonder if there is something wrong with my unit and/or if there is a fix... Hate the hum. Hate it! |

They dont normally humm, sounds like yours is faulty. Is it the same on batteries and power supply (if you use one)? |

Same with batteries, no difference. When cranking up the volume you can hear the hum (besides the hiss). |

I get this aswell. It doesnt happen all the time though. If I take the batteries out and put them back in it sometimes fixes it. Very annoying. |

I sometimes notice a tiny bit of a hum from my Sample as well. It's plugged into a keyboard amp with a summing cable (the mono end has a resistor in it), and it shares a power supply with a Monologue. The humming is only really noticeable when there's no sound, but it does increase a bit whenever I press a button. |
