Just curious, but I haven't been able to easily find the size of the HD in the 76.
Surely someone can tell me so I don't have to search any more! Smile
Thanks!

In MEDIA mode, select the device (HDD) and then in drop-down top-right menu select "Device info"

Mine is 450GB

Thanks Pete, it says 465g. Only 463 of it is empty. Smile

Indeed , It's 500 GB and as in all SSD/HD , subtract 10% from nominal capacity for preserved space = 450 GB of free space for user.

Thanks everyone. I don't think I will keep the PA4X76. My fingers don't remember where to go like they do on the 61. Smile
Also, it's a little heavier and longer. I most likely will trade it for another 61.
I never missed or needed a hard drive on it!

Sounds like a sensible decision Don.

As you imply, the HDD is really not necessary (unless you have several thousand MIDIs and lots of SETs with samples and 1000's of MP3s.....)
Even so you can always get an external 500GB USB drive for $50. I have the HDD in my PA4X-76 of course and with all my data am still under 14GB!!!!
It wouldn't bother me if my HDD "died" - don't think I would even bother replacing it in a hurry.

Yep, these PA4Xs are solidly built and I too have trouble transporting mine once it is in its case!!!

Take it easy
