Hi Korg Lovers
After I edit a voice to my liking I save it with my style used, but how do I save that edited voice into user to call up on another style at a later date.
Thanks for helping
I am enjoying using this Korg PA4x everyday
Regards

Hi Ronnie
I think your question is answered in the user manual, page 452 et seq, 'Writing the Sounds' _________________ Best regards

Hey Ronnie
If you've edited and written your changes, the best way to "recall" it is by either creating a keyboard-set or simply use SONGBOOK.
...remembering that SONGBOOK entries do not necessarily have to have styles associated
Cheers

Thanks guys for your replies, I thought there was an easier way to save edited voices
But will try out the replies from you both.

Hi Ronnie
I was just wondering if I have misinterpreted your problem.
Can you give me an example of what you have done - i.e. editing - just to make sure I've not incorrectly informed you.
Cheers

Hi Pete
What I have done , is call up any style and edit the voices, then I get the solo voice from keyboard set, and edit that sound and save it to the style and set.
But the edited voice I want to save to Sounds user bank so I can call up at later date to use with another styles or voice banks. Just like the guitar sounds you once sent me.
Hope this explains my thoughts.
Regards

Hi Ronnie
May be old age but I am still not clear about what you are doing...
Quote: | call up any style and edit the voices |
So this is just changing the set-up of your STYLE's selected sounds?
Quote: | then I get the solo voice from keyboard set, and edit that sound |
Do you mean "edit the sound" as in SOUND mode?
Are you actually editing a SOUND (in SOUND mode) - in which case you will need to write it as a USER SOUND in order to use it again.
Sorry - perhaps you could humour me and give me the steps you are taking.
I am confused by the "editing" - what exactly are you changing and where (i.e. in STYLE PLAY or SOUND mode?)
Cheers

@Pete,
As you know well Korg and Yamaha vocabulary, to make easier the communication,
it would be helpful to create/list some technical vocabulary (wording) that we use in Korg Pa series
for others members coming from Yamaha.
For example:
Voice (in Yamaha PSR) = Keyboard Set (in Korg Pa4X),
Registration (in Yamaha PSR) = Performance (in Korg Pa3X, Pa900,etc..)
and so on.... |

@BR
Completely agree
We need a keyboard Thesaurus for sure.
Even clearly defining the serious difference between "write" and "save" in the Korg definitions.
This alone seems to confuse a lot of owners but it is important to understand what Korg means by them.
Thanks for the info.
Cheers

Sorry Guys I cannot explain it any more clearer, I guess your reading of my request is different to how I am writing it out.
Thanks anyways, I wont bother anymore
Kind regards
