The Yamaha S90ES had some great piano sounds onboard, I think you are thinking of the Natrual Piano Preset which used the S700 Tripple strike samples. Finding these stereo samples would be your best bet _________________ Yamaha S90ES, Korg Triton Pro, EXB Moss, Roland XV5080, Korg EX8000, Korg Pa4x 76, Korg Kronos 88, Crumar MOJO, Logic Pro X, V Collection, Novation SL61,Vienna, Korg Pa4x , EC-5, Vienna, Arturia V Collection, Roland SC88 Pro, Roland D110, Alesis SR16, Alesis D4 |

The S700 samples on the S90ES do not exibit tuning issues, the C5 samples you have must be faulty _________________ Yamaha S90ES, Korg Triton Pro, EXB Moss, Roland XV5080, Korg EX8000, Korg Pa4x 76, Korg Kronos 88, Crumar MOJO, Logic Pro X, V Collection, Novation SL61,Vienna, Korg Pa4x , EC-5, Vienna, Arturia V Collection, Roland SC88 Pro, Roland D110, Alesis SR16, Alesis D4 |

I too, did not have tuning issues with these samples. There are some nice EPs in this package as well. _________________ Sam

@testmb
I've not had any tuning issues.
Check your tuning (scale) options on the PA4X (in particular "stretch")
Cheers

I'm not having tuning issues on my Pa3x. It might be the clash of resonance tuning associated with the Pa700 (main resonances are from factory sounds).
Maybe try this fix (copied from a thread on YouTube):
"To fix any Resonance Tuning issues for the Pa700. Go to Sound Menu, Basic, Osc Basic Tab, scroll down to Osc 13 and 14. Use the drop down menu, Solo Osc for each Osc 13 and 14 and compare tuning to main sound. Now adjust with Tune + or - in the Osc Basic Tab, say 3 or whatever matches the Pa700. Dropdown menu, Write Sound. Do this for each piano sound and you should be good to go."
I hope this might help. I don't have a Pa700 or 4x to try this.
If that doesn't fix it I'm going to blame Alexander Holm's piano tuner!
Sam does a really nice performance covering a lot of octaves in this demo where he midis his Kronos to his 4x here and it sounds pretty nice to me.
