Hi guys....

Can anyone help me with the intro sound on this Pseudo Echo song - Beat for you, had a decent sounding patch on my Roland FA for it but cannot seem to nail it the on K, sounds almost like a synth/kalimba or marimba type sound with filter and resonance envelope. All other sounds in it are pretty easy to recreate.

Thanks in advance...
Scott

All good I got something happening now that sounds pretty good....

I'm struggling though to find where to assign the vibrato from the JS Y+ in AL1 to aftertouch or the foot switch, annoying how the functions move to different spots in the different engines... makes things quite hard to follow.

On the plus side, the Kronos does sound so crisp its been pretty satisfying recreating my patches on it so far.

Hi Scott,

I take it you already found the "OSC/Pitch" -> "Pitch Common" tab in the AL-1 engine, as you found the "JS Y+" vibrato option. This is a pre-configured routing, which cannot be changed, but if you want to control vibrato from another source, set the "JS Y+ Intensity" to 0 and select the source in the "AMS:" drop down menu (for instance Aftertouch) and set the intensity below that to what you want (for instance 0.5).

Then there are further modulation sources and destinations on the next tab "Pitch EG/Mod" if you need something other than a single LFO across all oscillators to modulate the vibrato..
