Is it possible to convert a pa4x set to work on pa3x? At least if not a complete set but to choose and load certain performance or style from a pa4x set !
Thanks for any info

Sorry but no.

The PA series are not compatible in that direction.

Cheers

For styles you will need a pa4x to export as smf (midi) each style and then do the inverse procedure and import it in pa3x again.
For sounds you can do it with korg pa manager as long as the sounds do not use factory (rom) multisamples.
For performances i am not sure it can be done but these are way too easy to be recreated if you already have converted the sounds they use...
Of course you will have to make a new mix and put the correct effects to all tracks/styles/sounds you have converted as the effects and structure of pa4x are totally different from the ,old now, pa3x...
As you can see its not a very difficult procedure but for sure you will need a lot of time to remake the needed parts..
