|
|
Just want to ask if anyone else is experiencing this...
Using a dynamic mic, the gain(rear panel knob) is set to 0, mic volume on main screen panel has to be kept under 30 otherwise it is too loud and creates feedback.
To me, this is not usual operation. I am using a beta 58 (which is slightly hotter than most dynamics) but having the gain at 0??? Tired it with three other mics too btw.
Anyone else?
Thanks
PS: MAXX seems to affect it a bit, but even with it off, the gain (rear panel) I have to have at a max of about a 1/4 turn |

Hi Miden
Regarding Gain Knob, nothing works if you have PA4X built in speakers. Too much interference and feedback. Top guys here use quality outside speakers. See my previous posts ref MICROPHONES.
This may not help you much Miden but anyone purchasing a PA4X and think that they require a microphone then ask for a DEMO before they hand over their money. The built in speakers do not work with microphones. Trust me, have done a lot of research and trying.
Please make sure that if you need a microphone you have a demo before you leave the dealer and hand over you money. Again see what the top guys here use. The PA4X built in speakers are not good for use with a Microphone.
Regards
