"One of our pianist friend from Europa, went to the İtaly to Korg and he tested new arranger of Korg."

So there's life beyond Earth after all! Wink

Looks like a very trustworthy source..

Korg top end pa4x line is on a 4. Year release schedule..
So i guess thats atumn 2019..

If anything, a replacement for pa300, pa3xlight, havian 30... looks more in the line of expectations..

Weight 29 kg, might be an 88 key version and 2 engines might hint for the acoustic piano engine of the kronos.

In general the 88 key versions of korg allways where cut down to the mos basic level for arranger features..

Hi Johnny

So did you go from your PA1X to Genos?

Hello Pete, yes was using the PA1X since it came out and still have it. Almost pull the trigger many times to upgrade to the later models but never did. But I almost bought the 4X but wifey convince me to get the Tyros but then Genos came out and got that one. So so far its not bad KB but its not just for me. I would dump it for a new Korg in a hard beat and I know the Korg pa4x is a fantastic kb but whats holding me back is buying it then Korg comes out with a new model few months down the road. Thanks Pete for asking.

Yes that's a hard one now particularly as it's been a while since the 4X was released.

It is not cheap and also it is not easy to upgrade particularly if it means selling your old/previous model.

I have a principle now not to buy when released but always wait 12-18 months - the OS and the price tends to settle in that time.

The PA4X is so amazing that for me to go to 5X (or whatever they call it) it would almost have to be a complete re-design - but then the PA4X design is superb now - better than all its predecessors.

I do empathise with you and am not too surprised that you want to return to Korg arrangers!!!
Having owned the Tyros and spent a lot of time in detail reviewing and actually playing the Genos, I could never consider it - but I will say it is a nice keyboard - just definitely not for me.

If you consider getting the PA4X you should get one at a reasonable price now....

All the best

I am with you there i generally never buy the first 6 months after release
But recently bought a MODX at release, so sometimes a rule is just a rule

I can think of some things, i would love to see added to the pa4x tough.
Even some things it should have had from the start.
But still the pa4x is the most complete arranger @workstation@ till today

But if they are going to release the news this year.. it should be this week.. tough i don't expect them to.. releaseing in December would highly illogical.. Also i don't think arrangers have a place on NAMM .. so i am highly doubting the rumor..
