Hi guys. I'm actually writing here on behalf of my keys player in my band. He's not very tech savvy but I don't know anything about these. He bought a new Triton extreme. How does he transfer the self-made Patches from the old board onto the new board. I'm assuming there's some way to just download all the patches off the old Triton extreme onto a USB stick or a card and then insert it into the new board but I haven't been able to find out the instructions for that. He has a lot of patches on the old board that he made specifically for our song list and it would take days for him to do them all again by hand.

Thanks in advance.

I would assume so? They're both Korg Triton Extremes? As far as I can tell they are the same board

Then yes, it can be done. It would be best to create a back up the "new" keyboard first, in case restoring it became necessary, then make a back up of the "old" keyboard and use that backup to load to the new keyboard.

The Media button is the place to start, but suggest reading the Triton Extreme Operation Guide sections entitled "Saving on Media", and "Loading Data, Media Load".

The guide can be downloaded from here: (allow the webpage a full minute or even longer to load all the possible links)
