Complete and utter noob here so my apologies for stupid questions. I've bought the Volca FM and Beats and want to hook up to my pc. Would I be okay using something like the Behringer Xenyx Q502USB - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Premium-Preamp-Compressor-British-Interface/dp/B008O516JW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1548928723&sr=8-1&keywords=behringer+xenyx+q502usb

Nice simple little mixer. It's very basic with no eq on the line level channels, which means no fine adjustment of the sonic space your instruments occupy. Eq is need to account for overlap in frequencies. Also being a 5ch mixer you have no room to expand if you want to create a Volca ensemble by adding a Bass or Keys. Admittedly you do have one on channel left over with the mixer you've linked and it is a well endowed channel, but I know that electronic instruments are addictive!

As far as plugging into your computer, I really advise going to Behringer's website and getting fine details of exactly how it sends the audio to the computer. It may be as individual channels, and if that is the case you are not going to miss the channel eq as you can do that on any DAW you may run the audio into. But if it's only passing the master output, then you are stuck with the mix you send to the master channel. If indeed that is how the Q502USB works, I'd personally recommend paying a little more for a mixer with a higher channel count and eq on at least four channels. The mixers Behringer have in that same range come in various channel configurations and the ones with the higher channel counts do tend to have 3 band eq on usually their mono mic/line channels. Some also have efx, which now Behringer have bought out some of last centuries better highend professional studio gear manufactures, are actually really good.

Anyway have a look at the manual, consider the future and whatever you decide to do, comeback before you do it and tell us where you're at. Others are sure to chime in on the topic and different way of looking at it.

Thanks Mark, appreciated, I'll do a bit more research.
